However, where were the many when a few were making every effort to stop our adjust the many amendments to CAPTA & Related Acts for Families and Children??

Historical Reference:
1980:
Congress passed the Adoption Assistance and Child Welfare Act.The Adoption Assistance Act requires, in part, that states receiving federal monies under the Act>> make
“reasonable efforts” to prevent the removal of children from their homes and, whenever possible, to reunify children placed in foster care with their families.

1997:
Congress passed the Adoption and Safe Families Act (ASFA),2 which modifies the reasonable efforts requirement by allowing exceptions to the requirement in certain situations and by using the same term reasonable efforts

Can MORE Training Really Increase the Efficiency of the Child Protective AGENCY Employees?

Came across this Graph the other day and thought it was most interesting.

Have reviewed many of the States' Recommendations when the Child Protective AGENCY is reviewed for their Performances. One of the MOST common recommendations is that:
  • We must have more TRAINING for our employees so they can do a Better Job to:
       1. Protect our Children and Prevent the Evils of child abuse and neglect.
Yes, preventing child abuse is a goal for all of us. However, this graph is about your IQ... And unless I am mistaken it is pretty hard to change one's IQ no matter how much training, education, etc. there is.

So check out this graph and see where Social Workers fall upon this chart. Hey, I didn't create this data. But, if you want to check out the source, go here:

Average IQ of students by
college major and gender ratio

So there you have it.

BTW if you are a Parent, who has been allegedly accused of Child Abuse and have been or are involved with the Child Protective AGENCY, take a moment and complete this Survey>> Learn More
About this Survey
  • The Primary Purpose of the Survey Project is to determine the "Communication" between the AGENCY, and others involved when one is accused of alleged child abuse.
    • Many of us believe that there is a severe lack of communication as outlined in the very Statutes, Policies and Procedures, and those in the Agency, courts, etc. are not following.
  • By no means should anyone deny that there is true child abuse. However, it is vital that when one is accused of child abuse, we all have the right to speak up and be heard and listened to and/or given guidance in the many challenges that come with raising a family.

Related Links and Information:(Note: In my opinion, it is sad that "we the people" in a Republic, where laws govern us, that we do not have the knowledge to defend ourselves.
    Hopefully, we can change this?
One should always ask Why.. and if another says you can't. Ask why NOT?
If you decide to seek the assistance of Legal Council, here is a great reference>>

An index of actual Civil Rights cases in CA to be viewed and to gain ideas for your case. Keep in mind each case is as unique as the individuals involved.
(Practice Areas of the Law Firm)

    >Warrant Training
As part of litigation in one of the Civil Rights cases in CA, warrant training for the Child Protective Employees was established for the county. However, it would be wise to review this information as a concerned parent and/or caregiver. Please note, in many, many cases, children have been removed without just cause of "immanent danger"

    >Creating Your Law Book- Whether you seek legal assistance or not, it is vital that you carefully document the Who, What, Where, and Why of your situation. Here is some information to consider:
         Reason for Law Book

    Using Your Law Book
Note, many don't realize that the issues that may happen to a Family, may have to be taken to different Courts:
    • If you are accused of alleged abuse of your child, this would more than likely be a Family/Juvenile court matter.
    • If you want to sue the agency, this would be a Civil Court matter.
    • However, one must resolve the Family/Juvenile court issues before they go to Civil Court.
    Confusing, yes.

    >However, to get you successfully through Family Court to hopefully carry on to Civil Court, here is a great starting point:Index of State Statute Summaries relating to Family Court

    >Please visit my blog "Defend Yourself" and hopefully gain insight on the many issues we face in court. It is vital that you know the rules of courts, state statutes, etc. before you go to court to defend your self. (Visit Blog)

Yes there are many, many websites out there. However, the key is to hope that the sites are going in a similar direction.

    So for your consideration:
“We are joining forces with all persons affected by Parens Patriae to include parents, extended family, foster parents and father's and mother's rights groups. While this is a difficult endeavor due to various divisions, the focus will be on challenging the system with the unified goals and commonalities that each is suffering under in family courts and through CPS.” (See Definition: Parens Patriae)
