As the keeper of the web files for NFPCAR web site and one of the Moderators for "Foster Parent Allegations", we have guided many in their battle against the injustices against them and/or their families. (Our Affiliation). Please note, our discussion group was started in 2002 by a few Foster Care Givers, who where falsely accused.
Today, we have Natural Parents, Adoptive Parents, Relatives, etc. Why? Since we have come to the realization that there is a battle between the government agencies, in the name of abuse; And the welfare of maintaining the Strength in Our Families.
As we tell many, any advice given, is just a starting point. What is important is that You become an advocate for yourself by knowing the State Statutes particular to Your Concerns, to protect your Family... ie Do your homework and Take the Offense.
Here's just a few thoughts to consider??
These are just a few of the basic knowledge one should be aware. Our state statutes are voluminous. However the Child Welfare Information Gateway has created State Statute Summaries to hopefully narrow your search:
The Child Welfare Information Gateway has been creating State

More than likely, I have overwhelmed many with the amount of information presented? And believe it or not, this is just a starting point. Most of us would love to develop a case against those who act under the "color of law". However, for example, in my case, it took me over 3 months to organize my proof, research statutes, and build my defense against the agency. I did seek a lawyer, however, even before I had a lawyer, I did my homework... ie
Took the Offense
One of the positive features of the web, is that there is numerous sites to gain knowledge. Below are two publications that may interest you:

Another reference, although a bit more expensive, is Jurisdictionary . This is a 24 hour video course on "How to Win" Step-by-Step Self-Help Course
Below is one of the many emails received from Jurisdictionary . This particular email is addresses the thought "Can you win without controlling the judge?"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The following is a partial list of things YOU must do to win.
All of these (and many more) are covered in the official 24-hour step-by-step Jurisdictionary "How to Win in Court" lawsuit self-help course:
If you don't know how to do these simple tasks, you run the risk of losing.
Lawsuits are an axe fight. The course is your axe.
Jurisdictionary has helped tens of thousands get justice in court since 1997 when the website was first launched.
Now, learning what you must do to win is up to you!
Many years ago I saw a bumper sticker saying, "If you want Peace, work for Justice!"
Someone once said, "The truth will set you free!"
If YOU believe that, learn the truth about Justice!
Don't let anyone scare you into thinking it's too complicated for you to understand or deceive you into thinking lawyers are smarter than the rest of the human race ... 'cause it ain't so!
Anyone can learn what it takes to win!
Anyone means YOU!
Start with a clear view of the field of play, the object of the game, and the rules that control the players ... including the judges and lawyers!
It's simple with the "How to Win in Court" lawsuit self-help course ... as many thousands have already learned!
Jurisdictionary wants to turn the tables on crooked lawyers and biased judges to protect the "little guys and gals" being taken advantage of because no one ever came out with a course like this before.
No one ever cared enough to tell you the truth.
No one ever made it this easy-to-understand!
You will know what you must do to win in court!
May you find Strength in Your Higher Power,
GranPa Chuck
